Whale ! (year-2012)
“Custom” or “Old Man’s Garage”
NFS – Footprint 18 1/2 x 23 inches. Overall Height 78 1/2 inches. Exterior cabinet dimensions (without legs) 16 x 20 1/4 x 68 1/2 inches. Made of new angle iron and weathered barn tin. Shelves made from wood scraps I had including a kick panel from an old Wurlitzer piano. The gauge is from an unknown device, however the man I bought it from claimed it was from a submarine (you decide). The handle was a handle from a 30’s / 40’s era automobile. The Queen Anne styled legs are made from angle iron and are fabricated by the artist using tooling made by the artist.
