As many of you know, I am a hard core International Harvester (IH) Scout and light truck fan. I still run around in a 1975 IH Scout II. I had this tailgate from an early Scout 80 laying around and decided to have a little fun with a design I’ve been playing with. The frame is all new angle iron. Carriage bolts were installed to simulate boiler rivets. The legs are also angle iron bent into a “queen Anne” styled leg. I built a custom tool to make the bend in the legs.
