SOLD – Many of us have seen signs like this in our travels. The signs have survived the test of time. I admire the use of strange shapes and bold colors to catch the eye of a traveler. Most of these signs would be much too large to hang in a living room, so I made a smaller version. To give the piece the appearance of age, it is made of 5 different vintage automobile panels (1960’s-1970’s). The paint you see was sprayed on at the auto manufacturing plant decades ago. I fabricated the words “ice” and “grocery” from small steel rod and bar stock.
