SOLD – Measures 39 3/4 x 19 x 1 1/2 inches. Dark blue from unknown 70’s car trunk lid, light blue from early Ford Falcon trunk lid, white from mid 60’s Mercury trunk lid. Chrome from 1959 Mercury Montclair door and emblem from Ford Fairlane 500.
I designed this to look like a car door, but without the bulk. I like the sense of motion that the chrome captures. The weathered materials were chosen to highlight the passage of time.
