The weathered nature of these materials were specifically chosen to give this sculpture the feeling of age and to showcase the passage of time. I created this piece to look and feel as it had been discovered in an derelict barn and is now seeing the light of day after decades of being forgotten. The white circle is the hood of a 70’s Cadillac, the blue Virginia outline is the hood of an unknown 70’s era American car, the green is from the door of a 1972 Chevrolet Vega, and the yellow is from the roof of a 70’s International Harvester Scout II.
